I think we will stay is an ode to trans bodies, to dysphoria/euphoria and emerging as yourself against all odds. Something often overlooked with the current trans rhetoric. Two performers, each dressed, head to toe in brightly coloured pom-pom-suits. Their whole bodies covered, even their faces, move through their experiences. Behind them, the projected images of news stories and ‘debates’ on their bodies. A ‘conversation’, one side completely silent. Through this highly visual and compelling immersive performance we will explore what our bodies mean to us and the feeling of home we can create and find within them. The two performers, initially dancing and moving as if they are on separate journeys, as if they are alone and scared, slowly begin to find themselves within themselves and then they find each other (T4T). The Pom-Pom-suits move with each performer, swaying and adding a mesmerising colour and move to to the performance. The piece will end with the two performers unzipping the suits, and stepping out into the world in their own bodies. Dealing with themes of visibility/invisibility, unspoken connection and finding yourself. This performance will give people the space to look inward and reflect on their own journeys and the joy that is to come. A quietly beautiful love story, not just about finding love in someone else, but also about finding a love in your own body. But one that does not shy away from the disproportionate abuse trans people face everyday.

Scratch Night - Exeter Phoenix
Our debut performance of this piece was at the Phoenix, Exeter, in one of their infamous scratch nights that took place in February. It was a great exeperience and our very first run through, the feed back was incredible and we cannot wait for more opportunities to develop this peice.
